Our Animals

Meet our furry friends

At Rudge Farm, a visit isn’t complete without meeting our friendly farm animals! Start your adventure by greeting our waddling ducks as they paddle in the lake, quacking happily as they search for tasty treats. Nearby, the chickens scratch and peck in the yard, clucking away as they hunt for grain. Our mischievous goats, including the cheeky duo Poppy and Pickle, are always eager for a snack and a head scratch, while the gentle sheep graze peacefully in the fields, their soft wool ruffling in the breeze. Whether you’re feeding the animals, enjoying fresh farm eggs for breakfast, or simply enjoying their company, there’s plenty of farmyard fun waiting for you!

What Our Guests Say...

Relaxing weekend - The accommodation was lovely, clean and tidy. Quiet and relaxing. I went away with my husband for a peaceful weekend break and that is exactly what we got. But on the other hand the place well equipped for children and so we will be back with our children next time. Plenty of things to do locally for children and couples.

Megan, Towcester

The kids absolutely loved our stay and it really was the perfect family holiday.

Paula and David, Midlands

We stayed in 'Pigsty Cottage'. So beautiful, we had our own little veranda & stunning views overlooking the lakes & surrounding countryside. A short drive to Chesil Beach. The cottage is well equipped & comfortable. A jug of milk & a selection of tea & coffee was a lovely welcome!

Maryann, Kent

Just spent a long weekend here and must say thoroughly enjoyed it. Stayed in Carter's cottage, lovely and warm and cosy and spotlessly clean. Went with our daughter and one year old grandson. Perfect for families so much there to do - would love to go back in the summer months although weather was kind to us sunny but cold. Very well equipped all you could possibly want with good local pubs.

Susan, Surrey
