ALICE & HARRISON
An Elegant White & Green Wedding at Rudge Farm
A Beautiful Wedding Full of Love, Laughter & Surprises
Alice and Harrison’s September wedding at Rudge Farm was a wonderful combination of timeless elegance, heartfelt family moments and a celebration that was anything but ordinary.
With a fresh white and green colour palette, romantic olive-green crêpe draping and beautiful floristry, their wedding was effortlessly elegant. Yet behind the beautiful styling was a day bursting with personality, laughter, unexpected surprises and an incredible group of family and friends who certainly knew how to celebrate.
From live acoustic music and surprise singing waiters to an unforgettable ABBA performance, a game of rugby and an evening filled with dancing, Alice and Harrison’s wedding was a celebration to remember.

Romantic Styling & a Beautiful Woodland Ceremony
Alice and Harrison’s white and green wedding in Dorset was effortlessly elegant, with soft olive-green crêpe draping, beautiful floristry by Bridge House Flowers and a traditional pole marquee supplied by Taddle Farm Tents.
Alice looked stunning in a lace and beaded wedding gown with a full-length veil, beautifully complemented by her bridesmaids in green satin dresses.
Their 2 pm ceremony, conducted by Dorset Registrars, was accompanied by live music from singer and guitarist Lee Coleman alongside saxophonist Peter Dixon Music. The music continued into the welcome drinks, creating a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere as guests enjoyed Pimm’s and Luscombe Elderflower Pressé.
The couple also added their own personal touches, styling their reception tables and creating a DIY photo wall, bringing a lovely balance of timeless elegance and individuality to their celebrations.
The Most Wonderful Wedding Surprises
If there was one thing Alice and Harrison’s wedding was not short of, it was surprises!
Unbeknown to the couple, Alice’s mother had arranged a spectacular surprise performance from Singers Secreto.
What began as an apparently accidental clatter of dropped cutlery quickly turned into a full-blown musical performance. Before long, the performers were singing, dancing on tables and bringing the entire wedding party to their feet, culminating in a fantastic mass conga line.
And the surprises didn’t stop there.
Knowing Alice was a huge ABBA fan, the mother of the bride, mother of the groom and an auntie had prepared their very own ABBA tribute performance.
It was another wonderfully personal moment, filled with laughter, entertainment and the sort of family memories that make a wedding truly unforgettable.

A Wedding Full of Personality
Alice and Harrison brought so much of their own character into their celebrations.
As keen rugby fans, they even found time for a game of rugby during their wedding photographs, beautifully captured by Madeline Jones Photography and her partner Ollie.
They also created their own shotski for the afternoon, which proved an enormous hit with their guests.
Rather than opting for a traditional guest book, the couple provided a Polaroid camera and fun photo props, inviting their guests to capture their own memories throughout the celebrations.
Personalised sunglasses featuring their married name were another brilliant addition, while their very own wedding newspaper brought an extra touch of creativity to the day.

Their DIY table styling and personalised photo wall added even more character, making the day feel wonderfully individual.
And a special mention must go to the father of the bride, who was absolutely phenomenal at keeping the party going throughout the evening!
With LUVWED providing the evening DJ entertainment, the celebrations continued into the night.
What made this wedding particularly lovely was how relaxed and joyful the whole day felt. Alice was wonderfully laid-back, and everything flowed beautifully, allowing everyone to simply enjoy being together.
