The Watkins Family

Meet The Rudge Farm Family

The Watkins family, the heart and soul behind Rudge Farm!

In January 2021, Jason and Danielle, along with their three young children, embarked on a new adventure, leaving behind city life for the rolling hills of the Bride Valley. The moment they set eyes on Rudge Farm, they knew it was the perfect place to call home. With Jason’s expertise in architecture and building, and Danielle’s background in photography and business management, they have worked tirelessly to enhance the farm, creating a welcoming retreat for guests to enjoy. Their planning sessions often take place over a cup of tea in the meadow, while their children climb trees and wade through the nearby river. Committed to running Rudge Farm as a true family business, they have exciting plans for the future, ensuring it remains a special place for generations to come.

Great family fun - We had a great family trip with 14 of us sharing three adjacent cottages to celebrate a family birthday. Whilst we were only there for two nights, the facilities on site were great and kept the three children entertained and busy.

Simon, Cambridge

Loved our holiday. Lots to keep our little one entertained, tennis, games room, trampoline, rowing boats, fishing, playing in the meadow, the ducks and woodland walks. Cottage lovely clean and had everything we needed. We went to Burton Bradstock beach, monkey world, dinosaur & teddy bear museums in Dorchester, Lulworth Cove, Abbotsbury children's farm. Fantastic time and back for more hopefully next year.
