For the more active, we have a range of leisure facilities, including an all-weather tennis court, a full-sized five-a-side football pitch, and an outdoor playground. Our games barn and information room provide plenty of indoor entertainment, from table tennis and a pool table to board games and puzzles. Little ones can enjoy our jungle gym soft play, swings, and sandpit, while nature lovers can meet our friendly farm animals or try a spot of fishing by the wildlife lake.
With easy access to local golf courses, horse riding, and West Dorset’s many family attractions, Rudge Farm is the perfect countryside escape for all ages.

Step Outside: Big Walks & Little Explorers
Alongside all of our other fantastic facilities at the farm, we’re delighted to offer two brand new guides to help you make the most of your stay. For our younger guests, the Rudge Farm Activity Booklet is a fun-filled companion designed to guide children around the farm, helping them meet our wonderful animals while enjoying treasure hunts, scavenger hunts, stories, and more. A physical copy of the booklet is waiting in each cottage, ready for little adventurers to dive straight in!
For our avid walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, we’ve created a dedicated Rudge Farm Walking Guide. This comprehensive guide includes woodland trails around the farm, scenic local walks, and bridle paths that start right from our doorstep—perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside surrounding Rudge Farm.
Both guides are available digitally through the smart TVs in your cottage, making them easy to access whenever inspiration strikes.
