BRENNA & RYAN
Vintage Romance & Black-Tie Glamour at Rudge Farm
Brenna and Ryan’s October wedding at Rudge Farm was a beautiful blend of vintage romance, rich colour and thoughtful personal details, bringing together family and friends from America, London, Australia and Canada.
With a striking palette of deep burgundy, dusky pinks, soft greens and warm orange tones, their celebration combined abundant floristry, romantic marquee draping and black-tie glamour.
From a deeply personal ceremony to an impeccably styled reception and sparkling midnight farewell, every element reflected the couple’s distinctive vision.
A Beautifully Considered Wedding Weekend
The celebrations began on Friday evening with a beautifully arranged rehearsal dinner, bringing guests together ahead of the wedding day.
Additional high tables and seating created an intimate yet sociable atmosphere, while a ceremony rehearsal ensured everything was in place for Saturday.
With loved ones travelling from across the world, the weekend was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate together in the Dorset countryside.

Vintage Bridal Elegance & a Personal Ceremony
Brenna prepared for her wedding in Carter’s Cottage, wearing a stunning vintage-inspired corseted lace gown, a delicate flowing veil and beautiful olive-green gold velvet shoes.
Her bridesmaids wore a carefully coordinated mix of burgundy, chocolate brown and soft green, while the gentlemen embraced traditional black-tie styling with black bow ties and fresh floral buttonholes.
Their woodland ceremony, led by celebrant Kim Partridge, featured a striking fan-shaped seating arrangement, creating a sweeping runway-style entrance rather than a traditional straight aisle.
The bridal party remained standing alongside the couple throughout the ceremony as Brenna and Ryan exchanged heartfelt personal vows.
Perhaps the most touching moment was Brenna’s entrance, accompanied by a song specially written and recorded by her father. A truly beautiful and meaningful detail.
Rich Floristry & Romantic Marquee Styling
The traditional pole marquee by Taddle Farm Tents was transformed with an exquisite combination of rich floristry, soft draping and carefully considered styling.
Dorset Flower Company created beautiful fresh floral arrangements throughout the ceremony and reception, with deep burgundy, dark pink, soft green and warm orange tones bringing depth and warmth to the setting.
Inside, round dining tables and a traditional straight top table were complemented by handmade place cards created by Brenna herself. Draping swept around a suspended disco ball above the parquet dance floor, introducing a subtle touch of glamour.
Decorative ladders adorned with dried hops and a beautifully finished cake by Blossom Dream Cakes, featuring dried sugared fruit and floral details, completed the romantic, vintage-inspired aesthetic.
Additional picnic benches outside the marquee provided relaxed seating, while the couple also made time for portraits beside the lake.
