Coastal Dorset Holiday Cottages
Wow! What a year 2023 has been for us already. As soon as the Christmas festivities had finished, we picked up our tools and began the mammoth task of renovating all 10 of our self-catering cottages. We have poured our absolute hearts and souls into giving each holiday cottage its own unique style. With use of lots of different fabrics, textures, and vintage furniture pieces. Lady Rudge has been busy creating all the individual furniture pieces, using lots of different techniques from decoupaging to waxing. We have had so much fun being creative and creating cosy and welcoming environments for our guests.
Mr Rudge has also brought the cottages up to the 21st century with and array of smart features. Each cottage now has its very own Smart tv with an interactive guide with all the guest information you might need about the farm. Our new solar panels have been working phenomenally well and we are thrilled to be almost off grid. Doing our part for the environment and reusing/recycling at the farm is pretty much our moto. Not forgetting the brand new front doors on all of the cottages and windows on the right hand side of the horse shoe of cottages.
We have had such wonderful feedback from all our returning and new guests. They love the changes including the new beds and bed linens. We have been asked numerous times where we purchase our linens, duvets, and pillows from so that guests can purchase the same for their own homes.
