Rudge Farm caters to celebrations with 39 to 100 guests. Begin your big day getting ready in a picturesque cottage, toasting to the wonderful day ahead. After some final touches, head to your ceremony spot by the lake or in the Woodland Sanctuary, and exchange your vows in the open air. There’s no sweeter place to begin your journey as newlyweds. You’ll find many gorgeous natural settings for a photoshoot, followed by a lakeside wedding breakfast overlooking Dorset’s rolling hills and farmland. There’s plenty of space for a marquee and lawn activities. Enjoy a tranquil weekend getaway in 10 charming holiday cottages and wake up to the peaceful sounds and scents of the countryside. Picnic by the lake, sip tea on the cottage terrace or reconnect with nature on a woodland walk. Our venue boasts an extensive menu of recreational activities to keep your loved ones busy, including a tennis court, pool table, swings, rowing boats, full sized 5 aside football pitch and an indoor jungle gym.
The Woodland Sanctuary is truly a magical space to exchange your vows in. It is located at the very beginning of the woodland walk, a very short walking distance from cottages. It has been designed with a level access and is wheelchair and pram friendly. The Sanctuary is encased by the river with a large oak arbour at one end and the entire sanctuary sits under a canopy of mature trees. Around the outskirts and pathways through out the Sanctuary the ground hosts a variety of wild woodland flowers, ferns, wild garlic and bluebells.
